Créé autour du guitariste Eric Sempé et du bassiste Marc Peillon, Synopsis est devenu une référence dans le monde du jazz fusion des années 1990.Cinq CD ont jalonné cette déjà longue carrière, dont « Home », en 1998 avec le grand saxophoniste David Sanborn et Rebirth avec Dominique Di Piazza, Felix Sabl-Lecco, Claude Tedesco, Neil Gerstenberg et Gerard Kurdjian.
En 2019, Marc Peillon et Eric Sempé se retrouve pour une mise à plat musicale en reconstituant la formation avec le fantastique violoniste François ARNAUD et le jeune et talentueux batteur Cedric LEDONNE
Synopsis est une formation de choc où les sonorités du jazz se mêlent aux ambiances world ou lounge, où les sonorités éléctriques et les programmations viennent se croiser harmonieusement avec les influences ethniques.

Created by guitarist Eric Sempe and bassist Marc Peillon, "Synopsis" become a reference in the world of Jazz Fusion during the 1990s. Five CDs have punctuated this long career: "Home", in 1998 featuring the legendary U.S. saxophonist David Sanborn and Rebirth with Dominique Di Piazza, Felix Sabl-Lecco, Claude Tedesco, Neil Gerstenberg et Gerard Kurdjian.
In 2019, Marc Peillon and Eric Sempe gives new life to the group. Enriched with wonderful musicians such as violinist François Arnaud and young and fantastic drummer Cedric Ledonne. "Synopsis" is a shock band where the sounds of jazz mingle with an atmosphere of world music and lounge.
