Né le 9 Novembre 1962, Guitariste depuis l’âge de douze ans, Eric Sempé aborde très vite le Rock, puis le Jazz et les musiques ethno-jazz ainsi que des musiques expérimentales. Il apparaît sur plusieurs disques dans tous ces styles musicaux.Plus de deux milliards de téléspectateurs ont pu apprécier en direct son interprétation et improvisation musicale lors de la diffusion mondiale du mariage du Prince Albert de Monaco avec Charlène Wittstock.
Il est titulaire d’un premier prix de conservatoire de Nice et du diplôme d’état de professeur de Jazz qu'il lui a permit d'enseigner dans plusieurs conservatoire français.
Born 9 November 1962, Eric Sempe began playing Rock guitar at the age of 12 before moving on to Jazz, Ethno-Jazz and Experimental Music. He has participated in many recordings covering all these styles.Eric performed as a guitarist and arranger during the wedding of Prince Albert of Monaco and Charlene Wittstock, broadcast worlwide by all major TV channels and watched by more then two billions.
He holds a First Prize award from the Conservatoire de Nice and a National Diploma as Jazz Professor, which allowed him to teach in several French Music Academy
En 1988, il participe à la fondation du groupe SYNOPSIS, avec lequel il apparaît dans de nombreux festivals internationaux ou lieu prestigieux.Synopsis enregistre quatre albums dont l'avant dernier avec David Sanborn.
En 2010, le groupe devient ERIC SEMPE & SYNOPSIS.
Eric joue notamment sur disques, en concerts ou dans des émissions de télévision avec:
In 1988 Eric became a founding member of the group "SYNOPSIS" with whom he has performed at many international festivals and renowned events.Synopsis recorded four albums, the last of which features David Sanborn as special guest.
In 2010, the group's name changed to ERIC SEMPE & SYNOPSIS
